Bobbinet, also known as “Cine-Net”, is used to reduce light intensity and to achieve subtle and creative light effects. The unique hexagonal form of the Bobbinet’s hole refracts the light more evenly than other screens and is therefore the preferred choice of camerapeople. A stronger aperture reduction can be achieved by using double or triple layers of the fabric.
