With three HEDLER DF25 as the essential part, this kit suits for photographic as well as for DigitalVideo work. The three daylight units are extremely quiet - therefore we recommend them even for DV if original sound recording has to be done. The HEDLER DF25 with its metal halide lamp is generating a light output power that equates to a 900 Watt (approx.) standard Tungsten halogen bulb - at a power consumption of 250 Watt of the highly efficient bulb. Means daylight quality out of extremely compact and robust housings.

Another pro: the electronic ballast (with automatic faulty bulb recognition) is incorporated into the all metal housing. Designed for continuous operation and completely integrated into the Hedler UniAdaptSystem all the latest Hedler reflex umbrellas, reflectors and softboxes can be attached to the HEDLER DF25. And for your convenience - the built-in QuickFit adapter allows to interchange reflectors and softboxes extremely fast and comfortably.

As a focusable light unit with a Fresnel-lens at the front side of the housing, covered by a safety guard made out of stainless steel, the HEDLER DF25s light beam can be adjusted from spot up to flood light characteristic - simply by turning the focusing knob on the backside of the housing.

The 4-Leaf barndoor 360° delivers a hard, brilliant flood light, which suits very good as an accentuation lighting or to light smaller areas.

Used for portrait shots, extremely emphasized textures help to produce hard and striking results. Tip: try it for a man´s portrait - not always friendly but a bit more aggressive.

Designed for continuous operation this kit could also be used as lighting equipment for small stages.

The HEDLER MaxiSun reflector delivers a hard-clear light with a slight hotspot. We recommend this reflector still and product photographs.

FlashSoftScrim - made for the MaxiSun it softens the lighting characteristic of this reflector noticeably and widens the edge between the lit and shadow areas. Reflections will be improved by appearing more homogeneous, therefore we recommend their use mainly if you have to photograph shiny surfaces.

To complement this kit: three light stands with a maximum working height of approx. 2,37 m as well as a robust, padded bag with variable inner spacing are parts of the HEDLER DF25 Interview Kit.

Because of the daylight units it suits likewise for your creative photographic and video work. Besides this it is compatible with digital and analog (video-)cams.
